Expo 2025 Osaka is happening now on Yumeshima Island, Japan, from April to October 2025. With the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” over 160 countries including Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, France, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates are sharing ideas for a better future. Magsaysay leaders had a firsthand experience of the wonders of the Philippine Pavillon at Oska Expo.
The Grand Ring, a huge 2-kilometer wooden structure, is the main attraction, symbolizing unity and sustainability. Many countries are showing exhibits about robotics, eco-friendly cities, and space technology. Among all exhibits, the Philippine Pavilion, called “Woven,” has a warm and creative approach. It features more than 200 handwoven panels made from natural materials like abaca and piña, showcasing the country’s rich culture. Visitors can enjoy interactive displays, cultural shows, and a traditional wellness area offering hilot massage. The pavilion shows how nature, culture, and community come together to shape the future.
Together, the pavilions at Expo 2025 offer a powerful glimpse into how countries around the world are imagining a future built on innovation, collaboration, and shared human values.
