IV. TEST TAKING PROCEDURE |
A. A list of candidates should be given to MGSI (via email) at least two (2) days before the test. Please address the email to: soagoncillo@magsaysay.com.ph |
B. All test takers will undergo a brief orientation on the test mechanics. This is done at the day of the test. It is advised that the candidates are informed in advance that the Marlins test is a Computer Based Test (CBT). Thus, a familiarization with basic computer operation will be an advantage. MGSI is not expected to teach the crew on how to operate the pc. |
C. Due to the volume of the test takers, test administration will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The test averagely takes about half an hour (30 minutes) so the waiting time is not long. |
D. The test is taken individually. |
E. Results are printed immediately right after the test. Two copies of the test result are given to the candidate: one personal copy and the other copy for presentation to the requesting unit/fleet. |
F. A master file of all test results is kept at MGSI following the audit directions from Marlins UK. |
G. MGSI will not interpret the Marlins score. It is the responsibility of the requesting unit/fleet to inform the candidate of the results based on the standard achievement levels being implemented by the company. |
